'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' car expected to soar at auction Posted: The owner of the 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' car, Pierre Picton, is selling the famous vintage auto from the 1968 Disney film at auction Sunday in Beverly Hills. The car is in running condition and is expected to fetch $1 million to $2 million. For sale: custom vintage auto with Hollywood pedigree. Three-liter V-6 engine, polished aluminum hood, serpent horn, wings. Has history of issues with exhaust system. |
