Dana Wynter dies at 79; actress in 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' Posted: Obituary: Dana Wynter, best known for her role in "Body Snatchers," appeared in numerous TV and film projects. The science-fiction film became a cult classic partly because of its "McCarthy-era subtext," film critic Leonard Maltin wrote. Dana Wynter, an actress best known for her role in the 1956 science-fiction classic "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," has died. She was 79. |
